TRAINING THIS WEEK WILL BE ON THURSDAY, 11th March AT 5pm, AND SUNDAY 14th March at 2.30pm ( both sessions on main ground ) Scroll down for WRU contact clinic photo's at the college. MAY BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND WE HAVE entered the  ABERGAVENNY R.F.C FESTIVAL,  HELD AT USK SHOWGROUND. Sat 1st May, Over 18 Seven a side, Sunday 2nd May - Under 18 Ten a side. All members of both squads will play. It is our intention to stay over the weekend ( more detail later ) There will be no cost involved other than your own personal expenditure. COAX YOUR BIGGER FRIENDS TO COME ALONG AND JOIN US GIRLS. AT OVER 18 BACKS AND FORWARDS NEEDED TO SUPPLEMENT SQUAD NUMBER, ANY AGE, ABILITY, EXPERIENCE. SUNDAY CLUB TRAINING - Weekly, meet at the pavilion changing rooms from 2.15, ready for 2.30 start. Shower facilities available. Discuss training TWICE a week this sunday ( 7th March ) DO NOT wear earings, rings, etc. IN TRAINING, as from now contact will be a part of every session. If you could let your coaches know whenever you are unavailable for the next scheduled training session, or at short notice e.mail terryrees10@hotmail.com this will help the coaches plan the session according to the numbers available. 
 
 A healthy structured programme will now take place, with qualified coaches ensuring skill progression, and offering advice on technique.

BODY ARMOUR -  This is a personal choice, please confirm your order with Chris ( Coach ) who can obtain substantial discount ( subject to 10 collective orders.)  WANTED - Qualified Physiotherapist / First Aider. to attend training sessions,  if female, possibly could take part in sessions, if so desired , and in attendance of course match days. MARKETING PERSON - experience would be an advantage, but not absolutely necessary. Again girls if you know of anyone suitably qualified for the aforementioned positions, please let us know. SQUAD NAME / BRAND NAME - We will be known as the PHOENIX.  It is anticipated an UNDER 18 friendly will take place on Easter Sunday 4th April  at the Recreation Ground. Mid afternoon kick off , followed by a barbecue in the club grounds, everybody welcome. This promises to be a momentous occasion which should not be missed by players or Supporters, as they will be part of the first organised match between two womens club sides in the history of Pencoed R.F.C.

 In the longer term there is the opportunity for the aspiring player to progress to regional, and who knows National level ! Come on girls be a part of this ambitious womens rugby section at the club. No experience necessary. IF YOUR FRIENDS ARE NOT SUPPORTIVE, KICK THEM TOO TOUCH !!
